The current business model is to provide affordable and scalable technology solutions to cater to after-school students in partnership with NGOs/ CSR programs. The venture is developing the strategy for a B2C play that will help it get onto a more rapid growth trajectory.
They are looking for a seasoned consultant who can help then develop this strategy as well as help then prep for the raising funds that will help them scale. The specific role includes:
1. Undertaking an analysis of industry trends and strategies of key competitors, in India and internationally
2. Working with the leadership team to develop potential approaches for a B2C play, success factors and how to 'go-to-market' effectively
3. Deep dive into financial data and review other deals in the EdTech space to to derive key value drivers that investors will assess
3. Build a solid business strategy and HR/organisation transformation plan that will help deliver on the key value drivers
4. Develop the appropriate financial projections for the venture including pressure testing key assumptions
5. Provide input into the fundraising strategy and also pitch as needed
1. 8+ years of strategy consulting experience at a top firm or investing experience is a must
2. Deep understanding of the EdTech space
3. Knowledge of the investor decision-making process and strong networks especially with VCs is a must
4. Advanced business analysis and financial modelling skills
5. Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic
