Our client, a leading Ed-Tech Startup, is looking for consultants in the field of Data Analytics.
The consultant would be required to run SQL queries, build reports, dashboards, etc and work with the engineering team to make/change reports after DB schema changes.
Responsibilities:
1.Design and conduct analyses to create: dashboards, reports and forecasting models
2.Support our functional teams, including Marketing and Growth to identify key metrics, implement ways to track them, and drive decisions through data analyses
3.Work with our engineering team to clean up and update our data infrastructure: data collection and storage, integrity, and availability for quick analysis and visualisation
4.Introduce industry best practices into our company and be a constant advocate for data-driven decision-making
5.Communicate results and clear, actionable recommendations to key stakeholders
Skills Required
1.Have expertise in SQL
2.Have an analytical mindset, with 3 or more years of solid, relevant, industry experience
3.Have experience with a wide variety of common business problems (for example, from analyzing a marketing funnel, and measuring customer lifetime value to simple regressions and predictive models)
4.Have the ability to break down any analytical problem into its components, have a nose for the most important parts of any analysis, and basic business knowledge (or at least curiosity about business and operations)
5.Are a master of spreadsheets, relational databases and SQL, and can write complex SQL joins or create Excel forecasting models in your sleep.
6.Understand that good communication is as valuable as technical skills — and are a skilled storyteller who can convey the meaning you find in the data to the people who make decisions
7.Live and breathe hypotheses and experiment design; you are a data detective who constantly asks questions, and knows how to answer them using statistically sound methods
experience in popular data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Chartio) is appreciated
