Assignment Details

Our client, an early stage fin-tech startup, is looking to engage with an experienced consultant to further flesh out its go-to-market strategy and formulate its business plans. The consultant will be supported by an associate/analyst while undertaking the project.

The project will entail

- Oversee the primary and secondary research needed to carry out opportunity assessment. This is likely to involve conversations with stakeholders and customers in the banking and financial services space
- Scope and assess the market size, growth opportunities, identify current and future market trends, competition and risks
- Work with the founding team to synthesize the business model choices and how the venture places to create a differentiated and defensible proposition
- Formulate the go-to - market strategies and scale up plans for the fist 12-18 months
- Oversee building of business and financial model to play out what the venture could look like in a few years

Skills Required

1. Consulting experience with a top tier international management consulting firm is a must
2. Comfort with doing hands-on research & data analysis
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner
4. Knowledge of business analysis and financial modelling
5. Knowledge of and interest in the financial services space is a must
