Assignment Details

Our client, an American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet foods is looking to engage with DCOM Specialist- Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities includes:
SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS
1. Executing end to end supply chain operations for the ecommerce business across functions like Order fulfilment, inventory management, supply chain development
2. Delivering sales stock demand across the country for the business by managing and forecasting optimal inventory levels with great accuracy
3. Improving demand forecast by providing timely and structured supply inputs to the business
4. Cold Chain supply network development for the chocolates ecommerce business across the top cities
SALES DEVELOPMENT
1. Creating process of scheduling deliveries of ecommerce customers as per the retailer demand and availability of internal resources
2. Minimizing sales loss by improving retailer fill rate and collaborating with sales function for minimizing lead time of delivery to ecommerce retailers and customers
3. Collaborating with sales function in developing RTM for new ecommerce models – D2C, Cold chain Supply, Direct Supply to ecommerce retailers
4. Managing the supply chain for D2C business of the company to ensure best in class customer experience with minimal delivery TAT
5. Helping the sales team in cold storage development and fulfilment cost optimization of indirect partners (distributors)
COST OPTIMIZATION
1. Minimizing returns and liquidation costs by tracking inventory levels across the supply chain and taking timely action wherever needed
2. Minimizing supply chain costs by leveraging current resources and developing new fulfilment partners wherever required
Resource Planning
1. Managing new portfolio activities from supply perspective and developing partners for Import, NPD, Copacking etc
2. Resource planning (Manpower, 3Pl partners etc) for mid to long term supply chain activities
3. Managing and planning for peak volumes during events like Rakhi and Diwali

Role is based out of Gurugram

- Knowledge of the FMCG Industry.

- Ability to innovate and develop strategy as well as lead practical day-to-day execution.
