Assignment Details

Our client, an advisory and investment firm is looking for a Consultant to develop Environment and Social Management Framework/Guideline policies. The social framework to be designed would be based on world practices from World Bank, GMP and IFC guidelines.

Responsibilities includes:
- Screening and assessing typical environmental and social risks, especially in a pharmaceutical environment
- Preparing an environment and social management framework, overarching policy and guidelines for the firm, and also outline how they can be implemented at an enterprise level. This will include mechanism to share grievances and how these will be addressed
- Engaging with stakeholders and refining the framework and policy based on that
- Help think through how implementation of environmental related activities would take place as outlined in the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) developed

Please note that project duration would be 6-8 weeks.

Skills Required

- Detailed understanding of environmental and social standards and best practices around these. Knowledge of how they are implemented in a pharma setting will be a huge plus
- Ability to clearly draft policies and guidelines in line with best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Organizational skills.
