Assignment Details

Freight Tiger, a fast growing start-up funded by Lightspeed Ventures and Shriram Transport Finance Corporation, is building India's first multi-tier location visibility and collaboration tech platform to facilitate operations across the entire logistics and transportation industry. It is an operating system for the freight industry. The platform will use big data analytics, machine intelligence and the IoT to unravel into the most granular of freight transactions.

They are looking for a consultant to do the following:
1.Be responsible for design, architecture, development and testing of product initiatives and feature development
2.Make best choice of technology needed to solve relevant problems
3.Investigate, prototype and deliver innovative solutions to problem statements
4.Work in an agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software

The project will be based out of the client's location in Bangalore.

Skills Required

1.BE in Computer Science/ MCA with 4+ years of product development
2.Strong experience in developing highly scalable, fault tolerant, distributed backend services
3.Strong experience programming in Java and NodeJS. PHP experience is a plus
4.Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems
5.Experience in supporting, modifying and mantaining systems and code developed by others
6.Must be open to experimenting with new technologies
7.Must be able to work independently and enjoy working at a fast paced startup environment
8.Strong communication and interpersonal skills
