Our client, a well funded education start-up, partners with schools and provide learning material and processes to create an interconnected system to drive learning.
The growth focus till now has been driven primarily through a sales and distribution push. The company is now keen to develop a strong brand for its offerings and leverage marketing levers as a way to scale.
The consultant will work closely with the senior management team to:
1. Understand the product mix, target segments/users and how this is expected to evolve
2. Conduct a mini-diagnostic to understand brand salience and recall with users and partners
3. Leverage existing sales and customer insight data to identify an appropriate brand proposition and overall strategy
4. Prioritise marketing levers based on the target users and budgets, across digital and offline media
5. Help define an overall digital strategy spanning content marketing, social media, google ads etc
6. Plan events and strategic partnerships to strengthen the brand presence and recall
7. Assess the right approach to garner PR and media coverage
8. Help develop an overall marketing plan for the next 12 months that ensures outcomes and maintains the consistency of the brand
9. Coordinate objectives with marketing, creative, and advertising departments
10. Identify targets and key metrics, and refine the strategy based on performance
1. Proven ability to develop and deliver brand and marketing strategies
2. Experience of both online and offline channels is expected
3. Experience of marketing for an education brand will be a definite plus
4. Ability to think creatively and innovatively
5. Strong relationships in and ability to work well with advertising/media and PR agencies
