Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Procurement Consultant for a Procurement Transformation project in Nigeria for an Agriculture business. They are in the phase of the project where they are looking specifically for an expert who has deep expertise in the 3rd party logistics field in Nigeria (specifically with the transport of goods and services using trucks)
Work involves:
i) Expert advisor that can drive value delivery and work
ii) Share past experience and guide on ways to do business with local trucking service providers
iii) Identify opportunities to optimize existing logistical/trucking arrangements locally for the client
iv) Advise on the feasibility of value delivery initiatives proposed by the client and propose alternatives where possible
Capacity- Full-time (or) minimum 50%
Location- Nigeria
Duration- 3 months
- At least 15 years of experience in procurement with specialization in inland logistics (truck)
- Understanding of local Nigeria trucking industry – key players, solutions to mitigate vendor supply risks etc.
- Deep expertise in road freight forwarding (Trucks specifically)
