Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Senior Consultant.
The project aims at devising a partnership model with key sectoral entities to activate HRDF’s new strategy and redesigned programs. This would further lead to prioritizing and directing the needs from sectors to maximize the impact from HRDF’s programs. One of the key components of the case involved developing an implementation roadmap to support the client in overseeing and monitoring the various partnership model initiatives.
The key activities in the implementation module include:
i) Development of implementation roadmap
ii) Tracking of impact and challenges/ roadblocks regarding initiatives (& development of mitigation plans)
iii) Periodical reporting of achievement, progress, and impact
iv) Analysis on optimal communication plan and risk mitigation actions
v) Ensuring of smooth Knowledge Transfer and internal capability/ capacity building
vi) Facilitation of full organizational transition to procedures, processes, and tools
The key deliverables for this module would be the following:
i) Clear implementation roadmap with key milestones, required resources, timeline, etc.
ii) Periodical reports on the progress of initiatives (i.e., achievements, roadblocks, etc.)
High-level suggestions for communication and risk mitigation plan
iii) Assessment of skills acquired by the internal team, as well as further opportunities for improvement
Duration - 6 months
Capacity - Full time – working week required is Sun – Thurs
Location - Middle East, should be open to travel to Saudi Arabia required once every 2 weeks
Skills Required
- Top-tier background with experience in public sector cases, ideal if in the Middle East
- Should have experience leading implementation efforts and have very good client-handling skills
Must have:
- Consultant should have previous experience in handling implementation projects with KSA clients (preferable)
- Consultant should be able to ramp quickly on the project context and should have good problem-solving acumen in terms of independently handling client deliverables end-to-end
- Should be well-versed in Arabic and should be able to interact with client stakeholders on a daily basis
- Should have expertise in developing slides and other relevant materials as required on a day-to-day basis (initiative trackers, excel dashboards, stakeholder update slides, etc.)
Nice to have:
- Ability to build strong and trusting relationships with client stakeholders
- Capabilities to identify opportunities to help the client and provide key insights/inputs on developing strategic deliverables to the client
- Manage escalations to the extent possible giving leverage to the case leadership
Languages: English, Arabic (fluent speaking, writing required)
