Assignment Details
Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Key responsibilities:
1. Leverage your prior knowledge about project financing and auditing in various industrial infrastructure/complex EPC sectors to provide management consulting/ advisory services for financial audit and advisory services for the construction of a semiconductor manufacturing facility
2. You will be working with a central team of management consultants to coordinate with various onsite teams and industry experts to deliver project management services
3. Activities (indicative, non-exhaustive list)
Invoice management:
-Coordinate with central team of technical experts and onsite team to validate if the equipment expense invoice raised by client is valid
-Coordinate with onsite team to analyze project data to determine if the granted funds are being used for the approved stated purpose
Project financial feasibility analysis:
-Help in assessment of financial readiness of the client to undertake the semiconductor manufacturing project
-Assess project actual finance data to draw comparison between actual financials vs DPR projections and flag significant deviations
-Responsible for preparation of finance sections in the monthly Project Progress
- Reports to Nodal Agency with inputs from onsite team and central consulting team.
-Conduct and participate in project feasibility and review meetings for evaluating project progress and tackling bottlenecks with stakeholders, senior management level and client on-site team as well
-Aid central consulting team in conducting cost analysis, breakeven analysis, market dynamics, financial analysis of uptake agreements etc. of the products being manufactured
-Work with central consulting team and onsite team to analyse data to identify performance bottlenecks, devise corrective solutions and convey suggestions to the clients and Nodal Agency
Client coordination for data:
-Interact and engage with onsite team and client team for seeking and providing project updates and relevant data for analysis
Skills Required
Must have:
-Significant experience (10+ years of relevant experience) in large CAPEX projects, greenfield & brownfield expansions, etc. and financing/auditing skills in strategic projects in the semiconductor (preferred) / life science and pharmaceutical / oil and gas / power grid / mineral industry
-Audited 1 Greenfield or 1 Brownfield project of minimum $300M
-Managed internal or subcontracted teams of 10 people minimum
-Expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, ROI, scheduling, resource allocation, and scope management/ delegation
-Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
-High willingness to travel and relocate
Nice to have:
-Experience working with consulting firms (MBB, Big 4 preferred) – strongly preferred
-Experience in other complicate capital equipment management environment could be a plus, such as semiconductor, LED, solar, military, aerospace, automotive, large agricultural machinery, etc.
