Our client is a land mapping and land titling services provider social venture and is looking for a strategy consultant.
The client is evaluating restructuring its existing business into 3 different verticals with separate strategies and structures for each. They have a strawman framework in place and are looking for a seasoned consultant to help them think through the options and their implications before the proposal is shared with the board.
Responsibilities-
- Outlining a clear framework and structure to assess the various business model options
- Further delineate the current options through discussions with the founders and senior team, identify additional structuring options (if any) for each proposed vertical
- For each proposed vertical
- Outline how the business would be structured, linkages with the original entity (access to technology for instance)
- Define a rough growth/scale up plan
- Model out broad financials over the next 3-5 years
- Assess the proposed verticals against the framework and parameters defined and problem solve the emerging answer with the founders and senior team
- Develop the revised proposal to take to the board on how the business should be structured
- participate in stakeholder interviews, anchor strategy design effort, perform modelling on shortlisted models, value proposition analysis, develop board communication collateral
- Prior experience in a top tier management consulting firm is a must
- Exposure to the impact space will be a huge plus
- Should have previously undertaken projects related to building and structuring business models and strategy
- Excellent ability to analyse and present insights, recommend strategies
- Stakeholder management + team oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills
