Assignment Details

Our client, a Singapore based investment fund, is looking for a senior labor relations consultant to conduct a diagnostic and recommend areas of improvement with respect to contract labor management for one of their portfolio companies.

Roles and Responsibilities -

1) Conduct a diagnostic of the current contract labor practices
2) Benchmark best practices at leading Indian organisations as well as multinationals
3) Conduct a gap analysis between current practices and benchmarked best practices
4) Recommend areas of improvement and process changes
5) Build processes to safeguard interest of the company with respect to contracting, payment and compliance
6) Provide guidance to HR personnel to ensure compliance with laws and contracts

This is a 2 weeks assignment at 50% capacity with 1-2 days site visit at the plant site in West India. Rest of the work can be done remotely.

Skills Required

1) Deep knowledge of industrial labor practices
2) Experience of effective design and implementation of contract labor management policies at large organizations
3) Ability to clearly synthesize and summarize key recommendations
4) Good communication skills
