Assignment Details

We are a non profit entity funded by a leading development sector organisation. We work closely with the government to help significantly improve educational outcomes among students enrolled in night-schools in Mumbai and Pune.

We are looking for a senior consultant to work with our team for a short term engagement to help us develop a growth and expansion plan. Responsibilities include:

1. Understand our current approach and model to deliver impact and outcomes
2. Develop options for how the model could be expanded to other states - define the 2-3 strategic choices, pros and cons for each
3. Help prioritise the states of focus based on defined parameters - current outcomes, availability of infrastructure, performance of government schemes etc
4. Help the senior team plan critically for scale and chart a holistic 5-year strategic growth plan for the organization
5. Help outline a broad implementation plan which includes funding needs, organisational staffing implications etc
6. Provide hands-on support to the management in select high priority areas to kick-start implementation
7. Help craft a compelling presentation to communicate the strategy and scale-up plan to stakeholders

This is a 2-3 month engagement and would require part time capacity and travel to the client office in Mumbai.

Skills Required

1. Experience working with a top tier consulting firm is a must
2. Exposure to the education and/or development sector would be a plus
3. Good communication skills
4. Ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner
5. Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic
