Assignment Details

Our client, a new age digital first bank is looking to engage with a Consultant.

Key responsibilities:
• Setup processes, system to manage entire outsourcing activity.
• Set up and regularly update the Outsourcing governance comprising internal policies, procedures, tools, templates, reporting’s, and governance structures
• Actively monitor and incorporate relevant regulatory changes
• Support the business in the compliant definition of SLAs, KRIs, KPIs, Outsourcing contracts and other external procurements
• Supporting the due diligence process together with the business units and central procurement
• Ensure a regular SLA and KPI reporting is executed by IT, functions, and the Business
• Assess the contingency and exit termination plans and agreements and actively monitor the implementation of mitigation measures
• Create a consistent and up-to-date Sub-outsourcing chain report for each of the Outsourcing arrangements which comprise materiality, risks and ownership
• Coordinating the Outsourcing Risk Assessment together with the Business and the 2nd Line of Defence Risk Management function
• To manage vendors who are responsible for the ongoing support of the Bank’s businesses to ensure a secure, stable, and highly resilient environment
• To provide out of hours telephone support if required

Skills Required

• 10 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, successfully managing Outsourcing process
• Good understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Operations experience with keen understanding of servicing events, payment processing, invoicing, client experience, etc.
• Strong collaboration skills with consistency in output
• General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
• Deep strategic thinker with analytical skills to help with forward-looking activities and planning
• Hands-on process optimization and re-engineering expertise
• Experience in Banking/BFSI domain is a must
