Our client, a new age digital first bank is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and regulations for risk assessment and return filing.
2. Oversee the preparation and submission of various risk-related reports such as Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Central Repository of Information on Large Credits (CRILC), Risk Asset Quality (RAQ) and monitoring IRAC on a continuous basis.
3. Coordinate with internal teams, including Credit, Finance and Risk Management to gather relevant data and information for risk return filing.
4. Review and validate the accuracy of data used in risk-related reports and ensure timely submission.
5. Conduct periodic assessments of risk-related processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary changes.
6. Stay updated with changes in RBI guidelines and regulations related to risk management and incorporate them into the risk return filing process.
7. Collaborate with external & internal auditors along with regulatory bodies during audits and examinations related to risk return filing.
8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk return filing processes, methodologies, and calculations.
9. Analyze risk return filing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern for senior management.
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Additional certifications in risk management or regulatory compliance will be an advantage.
2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, or
regulatory reporting, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
3. Strong knowledge of RBI regulations and guidelines pertaining to risk
management and financial reporting.
4. Proficient in handling risk-related reports such as RAQ, RWA, CRILC and IRAC monitoring.
5. Solid understanding of risk assessment methodologies, calculations and
reporting requirements.
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and
identify key insights.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting
strict deadlines.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with
internal and external stakeholders.
