Assignment Details
We are looking for a Project Manager for Project RISE which seeks to harness the power of ritual to improve service-delivery and empower health workers in Bihar, India. Members of our team are collecting qualitative, quantitative, and ethnographic data on ASHAs (Accredited Social Science Activists) in various districts within the state of Bihar.
The Project Manager will play an instrumental role in the development and progress of Project RISE. He/She will become deeply familiar with all aspects of the data collection procedures and assist with the analysis and write-up of Project RISE data.
Essential Duties:
1. Acting as the ‘central hub’ for organizing team touch points and facilitating discussions and the planning of events and meetings for Project RISE.
2. Organising bi-monthly team meetings; taking minutes for these meetings and uploading them to the project server.
3. Tracking progress on data collection efforts and deliverables and maintaining the data storage and archive system.
4. Contributing directly to the synthesis and analysis of Project RISE data.
5. Managing daily project activities and tasks.
6. Preparing project reports and presentations.
7. Conducting literature reviews.
The Expert should be comfortable with travelling to Patna, Bihar for this role.
Skills Required
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social science field.
• Experience in management or administration.
• Experience with standard computing services (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, R)
• Experience in the India Health Care System and/or with analysing data on Health Care delivery in India.
• Experience analysing quantitative data.
• A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Anthropology, Psychology, Economics, or related field would be a plus
