Assignment Details

Our client, a fund in the healthcare space is looking to engage with a Strategy consultant to help them address certain aspects in the portfolio strategies domain.

Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm with the team to identify thematic focus areas and why are they relevant to healthcare, public health and patient outcomes.
- Work with the senior consultant to identify research areas, parameters and criterias in the communicable diseases space (focus on TB, vector borne diseases & Covid19) and in primary care side for situations in:
1. Science & technology enabled solutions
2. Infrastructure & implementation capacity
(Geographies- India and other developing countries)
- Map a 5 generation pipeline of solutions based on currently available solutions, science & technology, aspirational solutions, emerging solutions (moonshots)
- Identify the gaps in solutions available for the identified focus areas
- Scout relevant, appropriate and novel technologies and approaches on thematic focus areas to build pipeline for supporting development of products and processes
- Prepare a well structured and sythesised report of research and analysis that can be easily consumed by the rest of the team
- Support the senior consultant in strategy development and portfolio strategy

This role will require full time capacity over a duration of 3-4 months

Skills Required

- Prior experience in a top tier management consulting firm is a must
- Hands on experience of handling projects in the public health, international development, or social impact space
- Solid ability in research and analysis
- Excellent ability to analyse and present insights, valuations
- Strong communications and analytical skills
