Assignment Details
Our client, a leading philanthropic investment company, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following:
-Work with Partner, Strategy & Impact, on a range of strategic projects that advance the clients strategy and impact creation. Some example projects include:
- Scope and develop a perspective on a potentially new area of work for the organization
- Articulate and publish new insights about the next half billion, based on recent research conducted with our investees’ customers
- Provide guidance to investment teams on strategic fit and impact thesis of pipeline investments
- Reviewing and analyzing the efficacy of revised business strategies.
- Creating and presenting analysis reports
- Analyzing existing company processes and workflows
Skills Required
1. A deep passion for organisation's mission and approach to social impact, and preferably robust professional exposure to our focus areas.
2. A minimum of 4 years of work experience with the following credentials:
a. Experience of working with a top-tier strategy or social impact consultancy
b. Varied experience of working with the private, public and non-profit sectors
c. Experience of understanding ‘learning and impact’ in both for-profit and non-profit spaces
d. Experience in-market in India
3. Excellent analytics, communication and project management skills
a. Ability to switch between strategic and practical thinking
b. High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to take initiative
c. Ability to independently frame problems and the resulting analyses required to answer the questions, across both business and mission-oriented situations and questions
d. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
e. Clear written and oral communication skills required
f. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
