Assignment Details

Our client, a leading PE firm, is looking to engage with an independent consultant in the financial services space to drive a credit underwriting process evaluation

Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting loan file reviews (Sample basis – by type of product and geography / branch) and reviewing the credit underwriting process (auditing and interaction with the team)
2. Comparing the company policies and practices with industry's global best practices
3. Suggesting process improvements for the organisation to grow

The project would require a capacity of a full week in Bangalore, with some local travel within India

Skills Required

- Should have at least 12+ years of experience in credit underwriting, ideally have worked across type of loan products in the financial services industry
- Exposure to B2B and B2C loans in the education segment is a must
- Strong communications skills and ability to interact effectively with mid to senior stakeholders
- Understanding/ knowledge of the business/ function
- Understanding the common terminologies and concepts used in that particular business space
