Assignment Details

As a part of the ongoing New Business Development consultancy assignment, the consultant is going to help us in preparing and finalizing a short idea note to be submitted to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) in discussion with the Senior Members. We will use this note to pitch for a new funding opportunity in the field of health and nutrition in Jharkhand and/or Rajasthan.

Participate in group discussions with senior members on document the key emerging points
useful for developing the idea note
• May need to study some relevant documents to be shared or undertake some rapid internet search
on the topic as necessary
• Review the draft note prepared carefully and finalize the draft note with a clear articulation of the
following:
 Problem statement
 Intervention strategy
 Available evidence of the efficacy of the strategy
 Innovativeness of the strategy
 Additionality of the strategy
 Theory of change

Skills Required

Good skills in preparing and finalizing note
Excellent stakeholder management skills
