Assignment Details

Our client, a leading philanthropic organisation, is looking for independent content writers who can deliver the following responsibilities:

- Review archives, grantee reports and photographs for stories that can feature in the Foundation's 70-yr history book and microsite. The book and microsite will feature 70 ideas, individuals and institutions supported by the Foundation from its inception in 1952 to date. The book could be self published or published by a leading publishing house. The writers will get credit for their work.
- Engage with the NY design & comms team to adapt new branding guidelines to the office space including meeting rooms
- Support the office to prepare specific communication for op-eds, white papers, panel discussions, meetings as required
- Prepare and execute communication plans related to two forthcoming grantee events that mark a milestone year for them
- Support media monitoring or background research on an issue/news item as required

Skills Required

- Seasoned professional preferably with a journalism background and prior work in gender, agriculture, arts & culture would be preferred
- Deep experience in development communication/human interest stories/editorials, effective at storytelling (as evident from their published portfolio of work), worked with digital content/media platforms
- Available full time, on-site (3 days at the office, 2 remote days per week)
