Assignment Details

Our client is a leading not-for-profit health organization that implements focused initiatives for marginalized communities. They have a USAID-funded program for which they want to engage with a consultant who can be responsible for coordinating and conducting monitoring and learning activities end-to end. S/he will also contribute to the design and development of evidence-based learning collaterals for decision making, and effectively communicating program results to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring: Collect, manage and analyse data on program progress and achievements regularly with the support of team members to provide insights for decision making and strengthening current investments.
2. Documenting impact: Using monitoring data and knowledge of current USAID programs, conceptualize and create outputs to showcase the impact of USAID Health Office and partners.
3. Facilitating evaluations and assessments: Facilitating learning assessments to strengthen program implementation among partners/projects in the public health domain. This included guidance on data collection, analysis, production of outputs and stakeholder management.
4. Promoting Learning: Distill learnings from ongoing activities, create products to share the same with relevant audiences, and build capacity of the team on the same.
5. Capacity building of USAID’s implementing partners.
6. Provide analytics to the USAID health office

NOTE: The duration of the project will be around 3-4 months, but it will be subject to extension till upto 12 months.

Skills Required

- Strong analysis skills, including familiarity with quantitative analysis
- Attention to detail and results orientation
- Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in simplifying complex data into articulate and sharp content with use-focus
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong skills in client, team and stakeholder communication
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and quantitative analysis softwares
- Grounded familiarity with Indian government systems, community contexts and health sector
