Assignment Details

Our client is a multinational professional services company , looking to engage with a consultant in supply chain management .

Roles and Responsibilities -

- He will be responsible for leading the team that manages the day-to-day operations of SCM function. This includes running all transactional activities associated with sourcing and procurement, and overseeing the functioning of Master Data Management, Purchasing Operations, Sourcing Operations, Global EXIM teams. He/ She is responsible for annual planning and budgeting for the Operations function
- He/She will be responsible for maintaining and updating various data systems such as vendor management, PO management. He/She will be responsible for undertaking initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness of the operations function through technology enablement, process improvement etc
- He/ She maintains a close working relationship with all business functions, such as SCM Sourcing and SCM Logistics to ensure cross-functional collaboration and efficient operations within the function. He/ She will be responsible to manage, coach and train the team and provide on-going career development guidance to the team members
- He/ She is accountable for compliance to the guidelines and rules and accountable for any artefacts/ processes needed for the same

Skills Required

- Prior experience in running SCM Operations/ Procurement Operations/ Shared Services Centers in telecommunications industry, both India or internationally.
- Applied Real-Time End to End Supply Chain Management expertise.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional vendor management skills
