Assignment Details

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is looking to engage with an expert with strong knowledge in the Auto Component and Allied Manufacturing industry.

Roles and Responsibilities include :

- Provide inputs and suggestions on equipment efficiency and how to improve the same
- Conceptualise and implement methods for manufacturing process improvement and make the process lean and efficient
- Work with the client team and advise on ways to reduce downtime and improve productivity
- Take ownership of and help oversee implementation of the ideas identified
- Coordinate with the implementation teams for any additional analysis that maybe required for specific ideas in reducing manufacturing costs (e.g., analyzing key components including direct material, utilities, etc.)

This project requires 7-8 weeks of recurring engagement to conduct site visits and provide inputs and suggestions.

Skills Required

- Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge in Auto Component and Allied Manufacturing industry
- 5+ years of work experience in a relevant field
- Exposure to manufacturing cost/process optimization projects is necessary
- Would be required to demonstrate logical thinking, good numeric abilities, domain understanding and strong interpersonal skills
