Our client, a leading manufacturer of dry cell batteries, is looking for an independent consultant who can take the following responsibilities:
1) Detail out the Go to Market approaches for two high priority opportunities for the client to take a decision on whether they should pursue one of both
2) Validating the customer value proposition defined for the new product categories, understanding and sharpening the points of differentiation version competitors
3) Thinking through the channel strategy - the client has a very strong presence in offline retail channels and that can be leveraged for the new products
4) Developing an effective approach for ecommerce which is expected to contribute 50-60% of revenues
5) Thinking through the partnership strategies
6) Detailing out the financial projections and margin structure for the proposed businesses
- Prior experience in a start up in building and scaling a tech driven B2C product (wearables, content)
- Experience in doing GTM & strategy (commercial, go-to-market) projects preferably in the Tech product space
- Deep exposure to technology space, ideally in a product company
- High capability to analyse data and inferring underlying trends.
- Understanding of demographics
