Assignment Details

Our client, a leading management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Healthcare Strategy Consultant to identify and oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of strategies to grow the hospital vertical.

1. Lead the planning and development as well as monitor the deployment of business strategies to advance the mission of the organization.
2. Design and implement the strategies around hospital resources such as the number of beds requires, how many doctors to deploy etc.
3. Monitor near- and long-term market trends as well as emerging needs/interests among key stakeholders (e.g. patients, providers, payors, vendors, etc.) to forecast future trends and opportunities that inform strategies.
4. Remain current on relevant and contemporary competitive intelligence to Identify growth opportunities inside and outside the market area and develop the strategies to achieve that potential.
5. Collaborate with the senior and entity leaders to ensure strategic plans and goals align with organizational priorities and monitor/measure performance.
6. Ensure strategies are well communicated and translated into actionable and quantitative plans for entities and work units/functions.
7. Serve as a key contributor to the budget development and monitoring processes.
8. Actively engage senior management throughout the planning and deployment process to ensure alignment.

This project requires full-time capacity for the duration of 6 months.

Skills Required

1. Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field, preferred
2. 8-10 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
3. Well-versed in current healthcare literature.
4. Forward-thinking with the ability to engage others in casting a broader and focused vision.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead highly complex projects to completion and sustainment.
6. Expert at effectively pivoting between strategic development and tactical deployment
7. Able to proactively cultivate new and innovative approaches and solutions to business problems
8. MBBS degree would be a huge plus.
