Assignment Details

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is planning to design a technical assistance program focusing on strengthening Critical Care Infrastructure in India. They are looking to engage with a Public Health Consultant to brainstorm offerings, operating models, etc. applicable for public hospitals.

Work would involve:
1. Coordinating and promoting quality-related activities and advocacy especially related to National Health Programmes.
2. Coordination with State Programme Officers for implementation of National Health
Programmes at Facility level under the ambit of Quality Assurance Activities.
3. Providing technical support in implementing the technical protocols and clinical
standards.
4. Estimating state’s requirements of resources for QAP and coordinating with Directorate and SPMU for allocation of resources for the gap closure, found during assessment process;
5. To assist in supporting and conducting assessment and scoring of Public Health facilities.
6. Review of financial requirements of facilities.

This project requires Part-Time capacity for the duration of 4 months.

Skills Required

1. Knowledge of Public Health Management and Hospital Administration.
2. Knowledge of the latest health policies and procedures as stated by the government.
3. Knowledge of recognized quality systems shall be an asset;
4. Effective communication skills, with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them;
