Assignment Details

Our client, a leading management consultancy, is looking to engage with a Consultant with experience in conducting financial due diligence for Private Equity (PE) investments

Responsibilities:
1) Conduct a deep dive analysis of the firm's past financial data and reports - analyse historical trends, strengths, areas of concern
2) Benchmark financial and business performance metrics with others in the industry - competitors and peers.
3) Undertake targeted primary research with select customers, stakeholders, and experts in the industry - to confirm hypotheses and derive insights
4) Formulate and pressure test hypotheses on key value drivers and parameters for the business
5) Synthesize findings, gaps and recommendations in high quality presentations to discuss with teams and other stakeholders
6) Work and support the team on any deal-related tasks
7) It is likely that the consulting will be supporting multiple deals and prospective deals.

Skills Required

- Prior experience in the investment practice of Consulting Firms, with PE and VCs or in investment banking is a must
- Should have hands on experience in driving Financial Due Diligence process during the investment process
- Strong analytical skills, including with large data sets
- Ability to derive insights and synthesise through presentations
- Strong ability to conduct in-depth secondary research across data sources as needed
- Experience with deal making in the Healthcare, Consumer and Manufacturing/Industrials space will be a plus
