Our client is looking to engage with a Senior consultant who will be responsible for development and execution of Center for Social and Behavior Change CSBC’s management, strategy, business development and overall operations.
Reporting to Center Director and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Consultant will be responsible for development and execution of CSBC’s management, strategy, business development and overall operations. In addition to the strategic components, the Consultant will be charged with developing and implementing organizational structure, policies and procedures in operations, grant management, financial reporting, pitching for funding prospects and talent acquisition
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership
a. Being an integral member of the senior leadership team to achieve CSBC’s
vision.
b. Overseeing operations, talent culture, grant management and overall
management of CSBC.
c. Advising the Center Director on key current projects and potential projects.
d. Proactively building relationships with stakeholders, including key Government
officials, existing and potential donors.
2. Finance & Operations:
a. Serving as the management liaison to the steering committees and audit
committees; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at
committee meetings.
b. Overseeing the development/continuous improvement of an appropriate
system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards and procedures.
c. Meticulously reporting of grant utilization to donor organizations
d. Ensuring the execution of an annual collaborative budget process.
3. Talent acquisition & Business Development
a. Actively leading and pursuing funding prospects.
b. Collaborating with project management teams to fulfill their recruitment
requirements.
c. Managing existing institutional partnerships and seek new collaborations be it
academic or otherwise.
Note: This project will be based out of Vasant Vihar, Delhi.
1. Prior experience in a senior leadership management consulting / project
management role.
2. Prior experience of working closely in the development sector and with the
Government is an added advantage.
3. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, presentation skills, proposal writing
skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management.
4. Should have managed diverse stakeholders.
5. Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented and a passion for driving
execution excellence.
6. Someone who loves building enterprise-level process and systems that enable
teams and ultimately and organization perform at its best
