Assignment Details
Our client is Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (CSBC) at Ashoka University which was set up through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. They are looking to engage with a Behavioral Game Designer.
Key Deliverables:
1. Developing experimental design protocol and programming the experiments for deployment in lab, or lab-in-the-field or field settings
2. Supervising data collection and conducting regular data checks - on data entry and randomization, during the data collection phase to ensure good data quality
3. Coordinating with the Experimental Design Team on the experiment protocol
4. Providing technical support in running lab, lab-in-the-field and field experiments
5. Assisting with data cleaning and preliminary data analysis
NOTE: This is a full-time role based out of New Delhi.This position will involve extensive travel for running lab-in-the-field experiments.
Skills Required
1. A Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, etc. with a strong interest in economics, social sciences, public policy, behavioural sciences or related fields
a. Interest in pursuing PhD or a research career in Behavioural Science
2. Previous experience in programming/coding is preferred
a. Familiarity with or interest to learn oTree, zTree
b. Familiarity with Java, Python, C++, etc.
c. Familiarity with R, Stata, Advanced Excel, etc.
d. Proficiency in basic database management and handling large datasets
3. Familiarity with randomized controlled trials/clinical trials/quasi-experiments preferred and basic experimental design
4. Excellent management and organizational skills along with strong quantitative skills
5. Flexible, self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and team player
6. Willingness and ability to travel extensively to study areas
7. Ability to deal with unstructured and changing environments
8. Some conversational-level skills in regional languages
9. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
