Assignment Details

Our Client is a leading University and Higher Education group from India. They're Looking to engage with a Senior Manager-Communications for their Social Impact and Philanthropy department.

The client is looking for a motivated Senior Manager- Communications who has to demonstrate the vision of the department to become a thought shaper and leading voice in the space of philanthropy and social impact.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Manage PR and branding, websites and social media with clear analytics and data
2. Drive content generation for social media, in-house newsletter and other forms of communication for various stakeholders like nonprofits, philanthropists, etc.
3. Work with a team of experts in media to lead a project for building narratives for the sector.
4. Leverage current existing partnerships and find opportunities for new partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders across various constituencies in India and internationally, including academia, civil society, foundations etc.
5. Work with print media and other forms to coordinate interviews, op-eds. Track coverage of press releases and publications written about the organization.
6. Work closely with the senior leadership and team to help communicate their ideas and viewpoints to establish them as thought leaders.

Skills Required

1. The ideal candidate has to have an exceptional ability to grasp the complexity of social issues, with a strong focus on philanthropy and social development, and unpack their various dimensions.
2. S/he should be able to draw upon the multi-disciplinary themes and topics to lend richness to communicate the agenda of the Centre.
3. The candidate should have the flexibility to work on multiple projects, ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment and be excited to join a young and dynamic team.
4. The candidate should have some experience in managing external partners and be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
5. The candidate should have excellent written communication skills required for communications and other publications, as well as be a confident verbal communicator.
A Graduate / Post-Graduate / Master’s degree from a reputed university in Mass Communication, Marketing or Advertising, Development Communications or related field.
6. 12+ years of relevant work experience in marketing communications with exposure to PR, Advertising and online-offline marketing
7. Experience in agency management & multiple partnerships
8. Prior experience of the development sector will be an advantage.
9. Ability to work remotely and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
10. Enjoys working in a dynamic and expanding team
11. Right to work in India
