Assignment Details

Our client, a leading diversified Indian conglomerate is looking to hire Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in building and maintaining the largest customer data warehouse in the organisation. The candidate should be interested in building large, scalable and fast data system and will be part of a cross functional team that drives sales and marketing activities across divisions.

Responsibilities Include:
? Design, build and own all the components of the customer data warehouse end to end.
? Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from a wide
variety of data sources
? Interface with business stakeholder from gathering requirements to delivering complete data
solutions to drive key business decisions
? Provides input and recommendations on technical issues to BI Engineers and Data Scientists

This is a 12 months project based in Mumbai, requiring full time, onsite support.

Skills Required

1. Experience designing and operating large Data Warehouses
2. Extremely proficient in writing optimized SQL queries working with large data volumes
3. Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience building them with large-scale, complex datasets
4. Strong data modelling skills with solid knowledge of various industry standards such as dimensional modelling, star schemas, etc.
5. Experience with AWS Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse or GCP BigQuery will be a plus
