Our client, a leading financial services firm is looking to engage with a Consultant to manage the Finance function. We are looking for a high-energy CFO with experience in project financing (infrastructure-related, such as telecom, real estate etc preferred) to oversee all the finance functions i.e. financial controlling, FP&A, treasury and tax functions.
Key responsibilities
· Lead the finance function, composed of Control, FP&A, Tax and Treasury
· Drive periodic financial reporting (both internal and external), and ensure related compliance with local and external stakeholders (as relevant)
· Expand the FP&A function for better commercial/operational reporting / visibility to the management/board/sponsor, and drive a KPI metrics-driven culture
· Collaborate with other C-level executives, as core part of the leadership team. Prepare for and participate in key meetings, and provide points of view on business-critical decisions with clarity and financial rigor
· Lead discussions from a financial perspective with PE fund, Board Members and Lenders as needed
· Provide strong leadership, guidance and coaching to the internal finance team. Delegate with clear accountability and responsibilities
o Demonstrate ability to dive into details, as required
· Act as a thought-partner for the CEO of the business
We require this person to be on-site in Philippines (either full-time or at a minimum 4 days per week).
Duration - 6 months
· 15+ year functional experience
· Prior experience as a CFO, directly reporting to CEO/MD and leading a cross-function team in finance
· Strong leadership and ability to coach/develop people
· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional senior leaders
