Our client is a leading consumer goods company and is looking for a Procurement/Sourcing Consultant with a deep knowledge in Ceramics and for setting up processes for product testing.

Responsibilities:
1. Establish end to end process for sourcing and quality check/s (testing of surfaces at accredited institutes / testing labs)

2. Recommendation for Different Toilet Bowls (& Flush Types) and Ceramic Surfaces (Tiles)

BACKGROUND
As part of Product Portfolio, Rim Blocks is one of the important format. To assess the performance of Rim Blocks on different attributes like foaming, life time, cleaning efficacy etc it is important to test the product on consumer relevant toilet bowl designs.
This will help to test the performance and gross negatives of Rim Blocks using consumer relevant conditions and finalize formulations as appropriate.
The client offers different kind of hard surface cleaners such as bathroom cleaners, kitchen cleaners, multipurpose sprays etc. therefore Testing on different ceramic surfaces is an integral part of Product Appraisal testing considering wide variety of surfaces present in a typical consumer household.

OBJECTIVE:
- Recommend appropriate type and grade of Toilet Bowls – simulating consumer relevant conditions (primary flush types as Laminar, Back to Front and Turbulant)
- Arranging representative samples for testing and validation.
- Define sourcing and quality specs for the same.
- Recommend appropriate type and grades of variety of ceramic surfaces to simulate typical consumer household conditions.
- Define sourcing and quality specs for the same.

The project requires part time support for the duration of 6 months

Skills Required

Skills Required:
- Expertise in Ceramic Chemistry is a must
- Prior experience of working in the FMCG industry is a must
- Hands on experience in sourcing Ceramic related product is a must
- Ability to work in a team + manage stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; should be able to convey their points, advise and guide the team
