Our client, a leading global FMCG firm is looking to engage with a consultant having expertise in consumer technical insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the consumer work for disruptive and mainstream innovations.
- Work with external agencies to bring key consumer insights to shape propositions for new technologies.
- Work closely with technical and marketing teams to design and execute consumer tests. The objective of research could be exploratory testing or to validate propositions.
- To understand technical testing of products and support claims.
- Proactively partnering with internal R&D teams across the globe, managing relationship and coordinating with external agencies for consumer tests. Working with third parties will be a crucial part of the job to ensure quality output from agencies engaged.
- 3-5 years of experience in handling consumer research and working on FMCG category
- An MBA/ Msc is preferred
- High degree of objective analytical ability, ability to draw insights from data, problem solver
- Consumer empathy – appreciation of consumer behavior
- R&D mindset and inclination to work on open ended projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication
- Excellent collaboration and organisation skills
