Assignment Details

Our client is a leading FMCG company, is looking to engage with a consultant with superlative FMCG product development background with string stakeholder management experience.

Consultant should:
1. Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
2. Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
3. Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
4. Provide source of data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
5. Obtain product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
6. Determine product pricing by utilising market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customised orders.

This project is 6 months duration and will require full time on-site support from the consultant. It might be extended to one year post reviewing the initial 6 months.

Skills Required

1. Strong CPG product development background
2. Minimum of 6-10 years experience in R&D area
3. Prior experience with stakeholder management
