Assignment Details

Our client is a leading multinational management consultancy that is currently working for a cement company. They're looking to replace its coal/ petcoke consumption and instead use alternate green fuel (waste from municipalities or other companies which can be burnt to produce heat).

1. The consultant will help find sources of large and stable quantities of waste that they can procure at the cheapest rates.
2. The consultant will help train the client on how to quickly identify sources of waste near our client’s factories.
3. Additionally, the consultant will have to provide leads / make initial connections with companies where the client is are looking to buy waste from.
4. The consultant will support the team and client company to find waste in the East and North-East areas.

The Client office is in Delhi NCR but there might be some travel involved to the location where the waste sourcing will actually happen.

Skills Required

1. Prior experience working with a cement company to source alternate fuels (either from a waste management company selling to cement OR from a cement company buying from multiple sources) is a must.
2. Prior experience in procurement and logistics management.
3. Experience in the waste management or wider environmental services industry is preferred.
4. Experienced in working with senior management and client teams.
