Assignment Details

One of our investee companies focused on imparting life skills education & skilling to help adolescents & youth move out of poverty is looking for a seasoned Advisor to help them put the right systems and processes in place to improve business performance. The role will include:

- Helping define the key metrics, and MIS/reports that senior management needs to look at to understand business performance and what needs attention

- Working with the founders and senior team to distill the key business priorities for the year - overall and by business/function

- Participating and facilitating a priority and target setting, and implementation planning process for the company

- Helping establish the right cadence of business performance reviews and helping facilitate these for the first few weeks/months

- Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics, identifying improvement areas

- Working with the senior team on specific business challenges to help improve outcomes on key metrics

- Help with initiatives to drive growth and business expansion (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)

Skills Required

- Proven experience as a COO or P&L leader in an HR, HR Tech, Education, Ed Tech or Skilling business

- Solid understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, and key levers that drive performance

- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
