Assignment Details

Our Client, a leading FMCG company is looking for a Consultant- Financial Data Analyst. The consultant will be responsible for independent data analytics and unbiased business partnering.

Following will be the key accountabilities-
1. Design and establish effective project networks and governance structure for both SC and TTS projects
2. Develop a model for Trade ROI computation utilizing internal and external data sources.
3. Build and maintain a repository of key packs within the defined scope, and benchmark packs against industry standards.
4. Develop/Co own a simplistic competitive buying dashboard for all key commodities; setting the right benchmarks. Translate the competitive buying info into a Rupees Crores tangible competitive advantage at a BG cut.
5. Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of technical/business concepts and business nuances related to various parts of the business/procurement , and adjust the Trade ROI/ Buying Competitiveness model accordingly.
6. Design and implement analytical techniques to identify outliers, patterns, and action prompts, as well as create visualization dashboards.
7. Create governance mechanisms for Trade ROI, including scorecards, data sharing protocols, and action tracking systems.
8. Lead end-to-end coordination with the IT department to clearly explain requirements, convert them into project briefs, and support the development process.

Skills Required

1. Financial and data analysis, optimizing , and identifying areas for cost savings without compromising quality
2. Capability to process large data sets from different sources and to engage effectively with IT teams to land developments.
3. Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
4. University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a chartered Accountant. Minimum 3-5 years financial experience or similar positions, preferably in FMCG sector
6. Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle complex and vast data sets on various IT platforms.
7. Ability and drive to work independently.
8. Excellent inter personal skills and ability to work with cross functional team.
