Assignment Details

Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking to engage with a Consultant- Financial Analyst with forecasting and analytical experience in modern trade.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Analyse and review periodic forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term plans
- Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators; identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
- Work cross functionally to drive process improvements and automation
- Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators; identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
- Preparation of financial reports
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, ensuring all accounts are in order and can be closed in a timely manner.
- Participate in audit and tax procedure applicable as per local laws
- Coordination with the auditors, consultants and other internal and external stakeholders.

Note: This role requires part time engagement (2-3 days/week) with a hybrid working model.

Skills Required

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically in MS Excel
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and to translate results into meaningful metrics.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation skills
- Additional experience with financial/accounting systems is beneficial.
- Ability to implement financial policies and procedures
