Assignment Details

Our client, a media technology company, is looking for an independent consultant to help them develop an effective performance management system and framework that will be rolled out globally. The intent is to implement this system starting in Dec 2022/Jan 2023.
The project will involve working with the India and global teams to:
- Understand the current practices in use at the client, and good/best practices being implemented in different parts of the business
- Bring in knowledge of recent trends in the industry on performance management, and external best practices that could be leveraged
- Problem solve with internal stakeholders to agree on the broad framework for a PMS (Performance Management System) to be deployed at the client
- Think through unique roles and competencies at the organisation, and determine how the PMS will apply to different teams and at different levels
- Outline an implementation plan with a focus on year 1 ie cadence of reviews and conversations, linkage with compensation appraisal etc
- Work along with HR and Business Leaders in HQ to establish organizational priorities on Talent Management & Development
- Articulate and define the Talent Development processes for Diversified
e.g. Competency framework, Talent review, Career path and Succession Pipeline
- Build an effective Mentoring and Coaching program that is inbuilt in the Talent Management process
- Implement and rollout the Performance Management and Review process , partnering with Marketing to prepare effective communication collaterals
- Design and develop various interventions with focus on Talent Management and
Organizational Development initiatives
- Effectively capture regular Learning needs across the organization
- Identifying and developing curriculum to build a future ready workforce based on a
combination of on-the-job , from peers, eLearning’s and formal learning programs
- Build organizational capability and accelerate Future Talent readiness, with a focus
on High Potential talent and critical roles to build bench strength in line with business needs e.g launch an Early talent approach in alignment with HRBP & TA
- Build the Talent Management Metrics and Dashboards
- Regularly benchmark with best industry practices to build Talent Management practices catering to a highly diverse talent pool
- Work closely with the Business Systems team to build Systems capability for the Talent Management Process
- Be able to work in North Bengaluru

Skills Required

- 10+ years of experience in HR & Organization consulting with a focus on performance management frameworks and systems
- Minimum four to six years of experience in supporting launch or drive Talent Management and L&D programs for a large or medium size MNC
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior, global stakeholders
- Conceptual excellence paired with hands-on mentality to get things done
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Proficiency in English
- Analytical and systemic thinking to develop strategies that address multiple, ambiguous and sometimes conflicting business priorities
