Our client, an early-stage venture capital firm is looking to engage with a Senior Consultant for developing the fundraising strategy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis of all business units.
2. Develop fundraising strategy (including Debt and Equity) and capital structure & action plans.
3. Identify and approach possible funding partners and develop relationships with key decision makers.
4. Write and present proposals to new funding partners.
5. Review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement.
6. Work alongside the executive team to define the pitch used in investor meetings; practice the pitch with the executives and help the management team pre-empt investor questions
7. Submit timely reports on fund utilization and other reports as agreed with the funders.
8. Participate in problem solving sessions with senior and program leaders to develop the right approaches
9. Pressure tests every aspect of the client’s business ahead of fundraising meetings
Duration - 3 to 4 months
Location - remote
Capacity- 20 hours + per week (50%)
• 10-13 years of experience of working as consultant – fundraising in financial services, NBFC & Financial products or Fin-tech companies.
• Have worked in the financial services Industry helping with Fund Raise
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
• Strong oral and written communication skill
• Prior experience in Fundraising strategy, Financial modelling, Business structuring
