Assignment Details

Our client is an Education Services K-12 start-up that provides solutions in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Core skills, Reading Comprehension and Writing Competency to schools and state governments in India and they are looking for an IT Solution Architect.

Key Responsibilities:
Solutions Architecture and E-Learning: Architect Product and Process to Scale
• Design and develop technology full stacks (presentation (UX/ UI- moving into
workflows and gamification) business and database) and product stacks (tools,
frame works and libraries) in the domain of K-12 education services using cutting
edge latest technologies.
• Understand the underlying technologies and applications layers used in the
student, teacher, school learning and management journey, Learning
Management Systems (LMS) on cloud, B2B SaaS product, Student Information
Systems, Content Management Systems (CMS), and Learning Analytics
• Conceptualize and build standardized templates, tools and services scalable for
solutions in e-learning and when applicable in-partnership with external expert
agencies in developing SaaS/ APPs/ multimedia technologies to convert the
physical content to digital lending itself to self-serve model.
• Design APPs/ Use cases and products built on experience and ideally expertise
in technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure Cloud, Agile IT tools (JIRA), and the LMS
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the existing technology
infrastructure, leveraging cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices.
• Develop and maintain the multimedia tools and technologies used to deliver the
curriculum to students, such as interactive learning platforms, gamification tools,
and virtual and augmented reality tools.
• The ability to be hands-on to write, debug and manage software. Almost as
much as you like to talk about technology., to Lead the development of
product(s) across all phases of software and web lifecycle including ideation,
prototyping, design, production, and maintenance.
• Develop strategies for productizing the content developed for students in K-12,
using Artificial Intelligence multimedia tools and latest technologies such as
Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision;
• Be efficient in conceptualizing Cloud Platform (Hosting & Security)
• Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the technology
infrastructure, such as DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Productivity Tools and Data Analytics/ Intelligence:
• Find, use, and educate the organization on productivity tools, such as project
management / agile IT tools, collaboration tools, and automation tools.
• Develop and implement data analytics and intelligence dashboards and reporting
systems to analyze user data and improve the product, using latest technologies
such as Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.

Duration - 12 months subject to performance review post 3 months

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in developing and delivering technology solutions for the
education product and service companies.
• Experience in managing technology infrastructure and networking systems.
• Experience in developing and delivering top-quality user experiences.
• Knowledge of latest technologies used in education K-12 space in both digital
learning and teaching, such as Learning Management Systems, Student
Information Systems, Content Management Systems, Interactive Learning
Platforms, Gamification Tools, Virtual and Augmented Reality Tools, Machine
Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Sentiment Analysis,
Predictive Analytics, Blockchain, Smart Contracts, Social Media Marketing,
Influencer Marketing, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Worked at an startup or product company before and has a keen interest in
Education Services K-12 learning.
• High performance track record in delivering top quality outputs with no cost and
time overruns.
