Assignment Details

Our client is a private foundation and is looking for a consultant to provide advocacy services.

Responsibilities:
1. The consultant will support BMGF and concerned grantees/ partners in collaborating with Govt. of Bihar to design, establish and/ or strengthen envisaged local institutions like State Health System Resource Center (SHSRC) - including advice on HRH Policies (incl. PHMC), supply chain strengthening, budget execution etc.
2. The consultant will advise BMGF on opportunities & avenues to build (or increase) Government of Bihar ownership, management and sustainability of technical support delivered by BMGF and partners in Bihar
3. The consultant will support BMGF and GoB in facilitating cross-departmental convergence of all investments of BMGF in Bihar (Jeevika, Ag, Disaster Management, Gender etc.)
4. The consultant will support BMGF to coordinate with partners/ grantees funded by BMGF, and other Development partners in the state, for any high-level GoB conversations (e.g. PAC/ PCC meetings, partners meetings etc.)
5. Where possible, the consultant will help BMGF in sharing of learnings from other states with Govt. of Bihar, and provide insights on feasibility of replication/ implementation of those learnings within the Bihar context.
6. The consultant will be responsible for the any additional task assigned by Country Director, India Country Office, BMGF.
