Assignment Details

Our client is dedicated to improving the lives of children living in urban poverty around the world, looking to engage with short term project.

Roles & responsibilities include :

Phase 1 – Landscaping of MSME lending industry in India
-Kick off meeting to understand the investment theme and any entities that have been already met or profiled and meets the investment hypothesis.
-Potential list generation through engagements with Experts, Accelerators, Lenders and consultants knowledge database.
-Profiling of target investee and creation of priority list through secondary research and consultants prior interactions with the entities.
-Initial meeting with potential investees, along where possible, to draw up a shortlist of potential investees based on mutually agreed set of criteria.

Phase 2 – Investment Phase
-Proprietary transaction creation through engagement with the potential investee and position the proposition.
-Client meeting with target investees for in-depth discussions and reviews.
-Valuation advisory using appropriate valuation norms and benchmarks.
-Negotiation process of the term sheet to arrive at mutually acceptable terms in relation to the investment.
-Commercial Due Diligence covering benchmarking, quality of earnings analysis, business model validation, review of human resources and employee indicators as well as verification of information technology systems.
-Definitive documentation support to the legal counsel.

Skills Required

- Prior experience in Business analysis and Financial modelling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic environment
