Assignment Details

A leading development sector organisation is looking for consultants to evaluate potential companies to help them make investment decisions and mentor their current portfolio of investees with respect to their digital capabilities.

Roles and responsibilities-
1. Advice the organisation on investment decisions by evaluating target companies on the following parameters to asses their digital capability:
* Systems and processes to make crucial decisions related to technology
* Strength and capability of current team
* Relation between promoter and tech team
* Salient features and benchmarking of the current product
* Data mining and Analysis

2. Provide mentorship to existing investees by:
* Identifying gaps in key areas and suggest improvements
* Develop strategies for the product as needed, keeping in mind needs of the business and also features that will make the platform stay differentiated
* Detailing out new product features – from conceptualising, to developing the business case to detailing out the detailed functionality
* Guiding the tech team to ensure timely delivery and ensure current prioritisation
* Guiding the data/tech team on how to track, mine and analyse data to identifying areas for improvement and explore business oppurtunties

Skills Required

1. Combination of an understanding of technology as well as business requirements
2. Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces
3. Previous experience as a product manager at leading technology company would be a plus
4. Strong business, managerial and analytical skills
5. Attention to detail and ownership to ensure things get done
6. Strong communication skills, and should be able to work collaboratively with the tech, marketing and operations teams
7. Innovation is a key responsibility in this role, and you must be a creative, passionate individual with a talent for research and ideating
