Our client is a leading daily Hindi language newspaper company. They are looking to engage with an Interim CHRO to drive a convergent people agenda.
Key Responsibilities across 4 Areas:
1) Organization Design & Strategic HR planning :
a. Identify Gap, design and implement solutions to achieve agreed outcomes relating to organisational design, organisational change, performance management & strategic planning arising out of the business plan
b. Continuously engage with the management for understanding business objectives both at a strategic and an operational level in order to facilitate Skill Assessment and Development, Capacity Planning, Organisational Structure and Succession Planning.
c. Understand the changing needs and priorities of business with respect to people practices and suggest solutions.
d. Play a key role in leading talent planning and talent acquisition strategies
2) Performance Management & Mentoring :
a. Responsible for creation and execution of the Performance Management Process from the perspective of a 3 year-business plan
b. Coach employees and guide on goal setting and performance evaluation
c. Develop skills & competency frameworks after identifying gaps in the current process.
3) Employee Development:
a. Design and deploy leadership and development programs for employees in the company
b. Develop employee career growth and development strategies to retain talent, and enable broader career opportunities for employees within the firm
c. Ensure availability of training budgets for the year and monitor training Programs' effectiveness, success & ROI periodically.
4) Employee Engagement:
a. Create a work environment and culture that reinforces the company’s mission and core values.
b. Leverage internal communication vehicles to ensure employee awareness and participation in programs and processes as an effort to increase engagement
c. Conduct employee engagement surveys at regular intervals, analyse the results and share the results with the management to enable decision making
d. Help create and monitor frameworks for Employee Recognition or Appreciation programs
Note: This project is based out of Jaipur. Full time support will be required for 6 months
1. Prior experience of working with consumer facing or media company is a must
2. Hands on experience in creating HR processes that can be implemented on a digital platform
3. Should have the experience of working cross functionally to ensure people initiatives are in-line with company objectives
