Assignment Details

We are looking for a Technical expert in Multi-modal Logistics industry, including Gas Logistics to support us on:

1. Project cost assessment:
- Assessment of Land, Civil, Plant & Machinery and Miscellaneous Fixed
Assets
- Assessment of project cost reasonableness
2. Project Technology assessment
- Evaluation of Technology (dependability/ reliability)
- Appropriateness of technology
- Appropriateness of machinery and its availability
3. Multi-modal logistics route-mapping
4. Assessment of product portfolio proposed as part of the project (technical and market reasonableness)
7. Project Utility assessment:
- Infrastructure assessment in terms of land, buildings, utilities (power, water),
etc.
8. Assessment of manpower requirement
- Connectivity (suppliers, customers, etc.)
- Accessibility (rail, road, etc.)
9. Others
- Assessment of Quality control measures adopted including Testing lab
arrangement etc.
- Assessment of Repairs and maintenance plan
- Assessment of Project Implementation Schedule
10. Project Approvals
- Assessment of Statutory and regulatory approvals required
11. Project SWOT Assessment, Risk and Mitigation Assessment
12. Project Benchmark
- Assessment of all of the above factors against corresponding industry
benchmark, as appropriate
13. Submission of the technical assessment report containing detailed assessment of all of the above mentioned points

Nature of engagement: 18 to 20 working days, spread over a period of 2 to 3 months

Skills Required

Expert should have worked in the Multi-modal logistics industry including Gas logistics for more than 20 years.

Currently, the expert should not be associated with any of the multi-modal logistics company, but an independent consultant.
