Assignment Details

Our client, a leading co-working space has diversified into a new business that aims to enhance the 'Work From Home' experience for its customers. They're looking to engage with a Marketing and Retail Merchandising Consultant to further set up the entire process and product line and lead the outreach and marketing of this new vertical on an end-to-end basis.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising on Market research to launch a new Business into Work from Home solutions, retail and merchandising
2. Analyzing gathered information to form a hypothesis of company weaknesses and how to fix them
3. Providing ideas and research on Offline and Online retail for the Brand
4. Leading and advising on the product curation for the Brand
5. Advising on Product mix, in-store and online retail merchandising
6. Strategizing the marketing plan of the product and services
7. Assisting the Team in Alliances and Partnerships with Vendors
8. Helping the Team create SOP and Retail Docket
9. Conducting workshops to train employees on updated protocols and rules
10. Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations
11. Evaluating competitors to pinpoint advantages or disadvantages in the current market
12. Analyzing financial statements including cash flow, net profit, expenditures, and revenues to find problematic areas
13. Researching any organization dysfunction and provides solutions for improvement

This project would require remote support for 3-4 months.

Skills Required

- Prior experience in Store Retail Merchandising and Sales in a minimum of 30 brand outlets with an average size of 5000 sq.ft or above
- Prior experience in heading a retail merchandising division
- Proven working experience in successful product launches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop brand and marketing strategies
- Possesses a creative way of thinking
