A leading Indian biopharmaceutical company based in Bangalore.The Company manufactures generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that are sold in over 120 countries across the globe, including the developed markets of the United States and Europe. It also manufactures novel biologics, as well as, biosimilar insulins and antibodies, which are sold in India as branded formulations. Their biosimilar products are also sold in both bulk and formulation forms in several emerging markets.

Assignment Details

The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementation of key people processes related to talent management and engagement, including, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and other employee engagement related HR processes. He/she will develop meaningful strategies and innovative programs aligned to the overarching People strategy to drive business growth through effective talent enablement processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Create enterprise-wide People and Organisational Effectiveness processes and programs related to talent management and engagement (i.e. performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement& experience)
• Own key talent programs that elevate employee experience and/or target key demographics such as high potentials, employee transitions and belonging
• Create modern talent and workforce planning approaches that fight bureaucracy, enable scale and strengthen organizational adaptability and agility, including pioneering development of an internal “talent marketplace”
• Analyze people-related data, conduct assessments and own metrics to identify talent gaps, understand drivers of employee experience, and support high performing talent
• Partner with the other members of the HR Leadership Team and other key stakeholders, including HR business partners, CoEs, Finance, Digital and Legal, to design, develop and integrate solutions and processes to develop and retain the best talent.

Skills Required

Experience, knowledge and skill requirements:

• 10+ year’s progressive human resources experience with expertise in talent management, organization effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management and career development
• Passionate about the impact HR can have on driving successful business outcomes, with a strong understanding of business needs, future strategy, and creative visioning to set the path forward
• Collaborative and influential in partnering with leaders and HR business partners in creating alignment between business strategy, goals, behaviors, and culture to drive performance
• Experience in a growth organization where ambiguity, quick decision-making and change agility skills are an everyday occurrence
• A track record of driving talent outcomes through technology innovation and automation
• Hands-on project leader that can shift seamlessly between strategy and execution
• Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity, with a proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders and followership with all levels of the organization
• Curious, self-directed, willingness to learn and actively seek out information needed to be successful
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred
